OLAX MF985 4G Pocket Router

Check the OLAX MF985 pocket router price in BD on this page. The MF985 is a compact mobile Wi-Fi hotspot: insert a 4G SIM, switch it on, and up to 10 phones, tablets and laptops can share the connection wherever you are.

USB Type-C charging

Compared with older Micro-USB models, the MF985 charges through a USB Type-C port. You can use the same cable and charger as most modern Android phones, which is handy when travelling light.

Clear LCD status

A built-in LCD shows signal strength, battery level, network type and connected devices at a glance, so you know when to move to a better spot or plug in the charger.

Key specifications

• 4G LTE SIM slot for mobile data
• 2.4GHz Wi-Fi at up to 150Mbps
• Up to 10 connected devices
• 3000mAh battery for up to 10 hours
• Internal antennas, 99g weight

Who it is for

The MF985 suits freelancers who need a backup when broadband drops, students attending online classes from home or campus, families on road trips, and small businesses running a POS or laptop at a fair or pop-up stall. It also works as a quick internet source in new flats before fibre is installed.

Getting the best signal

Mobile data speed depends on your operator and location. For the best result, use a SIM with good 4G coverage in your area, place the router near a window or higher up, and avoid metal enclosures. Fewer active users also means more speed for each device.

Easy setup

The Wi-Fi name and password are printed on the device. Connect, open a browser and you are online. Use the reset button to return to factory settings if you forget a changed password.
