ZKTeco DM-280U U Bracket for Electromagnetic Door Lock, Frameless Glass Doors 8-15mm

ZKTeco DM-280U U Bracket for EM Lock

Check the ZKTeco DM-280U U bracket price in BD on this page. Electromagnetic (EM) locks need a solid mounting point on both the door and the frame. On frameless glass doors there is nowhere to screw into, so a U bracket clamps around the glass to hold the lock's armature plate securely.

Key features

• U-shaped clamp design for frameless glass doors
• Fits glass from 8mm to 15mm thick
• High-strength aluminium alloy body
• Matches 280kg-class electromagnetic locks such as the ZKTeco and Nexakey 280kg models

Where it is used

Glass doors are common in offices, showrooms, banks, clinics and malls. Adding access control to these doors almost always needs a U bracket so the EM lock can grip the door without drilling the glass.

How it fits into an access system

1. The EM lock body mounts on the top frame.
2. The U bracket clamps on the glass door and carries the armature plate.
3. A fingerprint, card or face terminal controls power to the lock.
4. An exit button releases the door from inside.

Installation tips

• Measure the glass thickness before ordering.
• Protect the glass surface when tightening the clamp.
• Align the armature plate carefully with the lock face for full holding force.
• Leave installation of glass-door hardware to experienced technicians.
