Dtech DT-7104 4-Port BNC Splitter

Check the Dtech DT-7104 BNC splitter price in BD on this page. A BNC video splitter takes one coaxial video signal and sends copies of it to several outputs. In CCTV, that lets one camera or DVR output appear on more than one monitor or device at the same time.

Key features

• 4 BNC output ports
• Built for CC camera and CCTV video
• Compact body that fits in racks and small cabinets
• Designed to keep the video signal clean across all outputs

Common uses

• Showing a gate or reception camera on monitors in two or more rooms
• Sending one camera feed to both a DVR and a separate spot monitor
• Guard rooms needing the same view as the manager's office
• Demonstration setups in shops selling CCTV

How it works

Connect the camera or DVR output to the splitter input, then run coaxial cables with BNC connectors from each output to the monitors or devices. Keep cable runs reasonable, as long runs reduce picture quality.

Installation tips

1. Use good RG59 coaxial cable and properly fitted BNC connectors.
2. Check the splitter supports the video format of your cameras, especially for HD analogue systems.
3. Label each output so feeds are easy to trace later.
