Hikvision DS-7104NI-Q1/M 4-Channel Mini 1U NVR

Check the Hikvision DS-7104NI-Q1/M NVR price in BD on this page. An NVR (network video recorder) records IP cameras over your network. This compact 4-channel model is a natural starting point for small offices, shops and homes moving to IP CCTV.

Key features

• 4 IP camera channels, up to 4MP resolution each
• H.265+ compression to save hard-disk space
• 40Mbps incoming and 60Mbps outgoing bandwidth
• HDMI and VGA outputs at the same time
• One SATA bay for a hard disk up to 6TB
• Two USB 2.0 ports for backup and mouse
• Hik-Connect for mobile viewing and alerts

Note on PoE

This model has no built-in PoE ports. Connect cameras through a PoE switch, or power them with separate 12V adapters, and link the switch to the NVR's network port.

Matching cameras

Works well with Hikvision IP cameras such as the DS-2CD1323G0E-I dome, and with many ONVIF cameras from other brands.

Typical system

Four 2MP or 4MP IP cameras, a 4 or 8-port PoE switch, this NVR, a surveillance hard disk and a monitor.

Setup tips

1. Install a surveillance-grade HDD and format it in the NVR.
2. Activate with a strong password.
3. Add cameras, then enable Hik-Connect for remote access.
4. Protect the NVR and switch with a UPS.
