Grow your system

Start with four or five cameras and add more later. You can also mix in IP cameras, which helps when upgrading part of a site to higher-resolution IP while keeping existing analogue cameras.

Smart search

Rather than scrolling through hours of video, filter by events such as motion to find the moment you need faster.

Storage planning

Eight cameras fill a disk faster than four. Use a 2TB to 4TB surveillance-grade hard disk and set motion-based recording at night to extend history.

Setup tips

1. Place the DVR in a ventilated, secure spot with a UPS.
2. Change the default password and enable Hik-Connect.
3. Label each camera channel by location.
