TP-Link TL-WA855RE 300Mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender, 2 External Antennas, LAN Port

TP-Link TL-WA855RE 300Mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender

The TP-Link TL-WA855RE range extender price in BD is on this page. This is one of TP-Link's best-known wall-plug extenders: it picks up your existing Wi-Fi and rebroadcasts it with two external antennas, so rooms that used to show one bar get a usable signal.

Two external antennas

Many budget extenders use internal antennas. The TL-WA855RE has two adjustable external antennas that improve both reception from the router and coverage in the area you are boosting. Angle them for the best result in your layout.

Key specifications

• 2.4GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi up to 300Mbps
• One 10/100Mbps Ethernet port
• WPS button for one-touch pairing
• WEP, WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK security
• Low 3.6W power consumption

LAN port for wired devices

Plug a smart TV, desktop PC or game console into the Ethernet port to give it a network connection from the extended Wi-Fi, which is useful for devices with weak built-in wireless.

Quick setup

Plug the extender in near your router, press WPS on the router and then on the extender, and wait for the lights. Then move it to a socket roughly halfway to the area with weak Wi-Fi. You can also set it up from a browser or the TP-Link Tether app.

Works with any router

It works with any standard Wi-Fi router, including those supplied by internet service providers in Bangladesh.

When to choose a different model

If you mostly use 5GHz devices for streaming, a dual-band extender like the TP-Link RE200 or Mercusys ME30 will give faster results. For basic browsing and calls in far rooms, the TL-WA855RE is a reliable, low-cost choice.
