Check the Noyafa NF-8209S cable tracker price in BD on this page. Noyafa is a popular maker of network test tools, and the NF-8209S is aimed at technicians who regularly trace and troubleshoot cabling. It finds a target cable quickly and can also measure cable length, which helps locate breaks and plan installations.

Key features

• Works with Cat5 and Cat6 network cable
• Quickly locates the target cable among many
• Measures cable length accurately
• Rechargeable battery, no constant battery replacement

Why measure cable length

Length readings tell you whether a run is within the 100-metre Ethernet limit, how much cable is coiled in a ceiling, and roughly where a break or bad joint is along a cable. That turns a guess into a targeted repair.

Typical jobs

• Identifying unlabelled cables at patch panels and switches
• Tracing CCTV and access point cables back to the rack
• Finding cut or damaged runs after renovation work
• Auditing an existing network before an upgrade

How to use

1. Connect the transmitter to the cable at the outlet or device end.
2. Scan the bundle at the rack with the receiver probe.
3. Follow the strongest signal to the target cable.
4. Use the length test to check the run or locate a fault.
