C-Data FD1304S-B1-PDA0 4 Port EPON OLT

The C-Data FD1304S EPON OLT price in BD is listed on this page. C-Data is one of the most widely used OLT brands among local ISPs and cable operators in Bangladesh, and the FD1304S-B1-PDA0 is its compact 4-port EPON head-end for growing FTTH networks.

What an OLT does

An optical line terminal sits at the ISP's point of presence. Each PON port feeds a fibre that is split with passive splitters to serve many customer ONUs. The OLT authorises those ONUs, manages bandwidth and connects them to the internet upstream.

Four EPON ports

The FD1304S provides four EPON ports compliant with IEEE 802.3ah, the standard used by EPON ONUs such as the XPON models we stock. Each port can serve a large number of subscribers through splitters, depending on your design and optical budget.

Strong uplinks

• 4 x 10/100/1000M auto-negotiation Ethernet ports
• 4 x 10-gigabit SFP+ interfaces

10G SFP+ uplinks let you connect the OLT to your core switch or router with fibre at high capacity, so busy evening traffic from hundreds of customers does not bottleneck.

1U rack design

The OLT fits in one unit of a standard 19-inch rack, saving space in small POP rooms and street cabinets.

Planning tips

Plan your splitter ratios and fibre distances using the optical budget of the PON modules, keep spare SFP modules on hand, and connect the OLT to an online UPS. A well-ventilated, dust-free rack extends equipment life.

Who it is for

Local ISPs, cable TV operators moving to broadband, housing societies and campus networks that need a reliable entry-level EPON OLT.
