Vention IDIH0 Cat6A FTP RJ45 Toolless Connector

The Vention IDIH0 toolless RJ45 connector lets you fit a network plug to a cable by hand. Instead of crimping, you lay the wires in the colour-coded slots and close the housing, which presses the conductors onto the contacts. It is ideal for finishing cables in place, on site, or in tight spaces where a crimp tool is awkward.

Cat6A and shielded

The IDIH0 is designed for Cat6A FTP (foil-shielded) cable. Its metal shell gives all-round shielding and grounds the cable's foil, helping keep out electrical noise from power cables, motors and lighting. That matters most on 10Gbps links and in industrial or crowded cabinet environments.

Where to use it

Use it to terminate cable for IP cameras, access points, wall-mounted devices, server racks and office desks, especially where the cable has been pulled through conduit and a plug must be fitted at the end.

How to fit it

1. Strip the outer jacket and fold back the foil and drain wire.
2. Arrange the pairs to the T568A or T568B colour code on the insert.
3. Insert the wires, trim the ends and close the housing firmly.
4. Secure the cable clamp and test the cable.

Tips

Check that your cable conductor size and jacket diameter suit the plug before buying in bulk. Always test finished cables with a cable tester.
