N-type TNC cells

TNC is Tongwei's name for its N-type tunnel-oxide passivated contact cells, the same family as TOPCon. N-type cells lose less output each year than older P-type cells and perform better in heat, a real advantage on hot Bangladeshi roofs. Module efficiency is up to 22.8%.

Half cells for steadier output

Half-cut cells halve the current in each cell string, reducing resistance losses and hot spots. Partial shading on one half of the panel has less impact on the other half.
