Cooling Without a Radiator

An air cooler has fewer parts that can fail than a liquid cooler and needs no radiator mount in the case. Six heat pipes and a copper base move heat from the processor into the fins, where the fan carries it away, which suits gaming and everyday work processors up to the power level the cooler is designed for.

Compatibility

The shop page for this model does not list socket support or cooler height, so ask QASWATEC to confirm your AMD or Intel socket before you order.

Case and Memory Clearance

Tower coolers sit above the motherboard, so check the maximum cooler height your case allows and whether tall memory modules touch the fan or fins. Keep a clear airflow path from the front of the case to the rear exhaust.

Installation Notes

Mount the backplate and brackets for your socket, apply thermal paste, then fit the heatsink and clip the fan on. Connect the fan to the CPU fan header as shown in the manual, and set a PWM fan curve in the BIOS to keep the system quiet at idle. Check that the fan does not touch tall memory modules before closing the case.
