The MR-SPF2K-LP1-TL20E is a wall-mounted, high-frequency inverter that combines a solar charge controller, a battery charger and a pure sine wave inverter in one slim box, ideal for homes and small shops adding rooftop solar.

Solar and grid working together

Unlike a basic IPS, this hybrid inverter can power your load from solar and the grid at the same time. On a sunny day it uses free solar energy first and tops up from the grid only when needed, cutting your electricity bill. When the grid fails, it switches to battery in about 10 ms.

Strong MPPT solar charger

• MPPT tracking from 30V to 400V, with a maximum open-circuit voltage of 450V

Flexible batteries

It works with lead-acid, lithium or user-defined battery profiles, and can even run without a battery to use solar during the day. Lithium batteries can talk to the inverter over RS485 or CAN for accurate charging.

Output is a pure sine wave at 208–240V ±5% with a power factor of 1, so the full 2kW is usable. Surge capacity of twice the rated power helps start fans, refrigerators and pumps.

Monitoring

A Wi-Fi module lets you watch solar production, battery level and load from your phone. RS232 is also available for local connections.

Installation

The unit is IP20 rated, so install it indoors in a dry, ventilated place. It measures 331 x 270 x 100 mm and weighs 4.5 kg. Solar systems should be installed by a qualified technician with proper DC breakers and earthing.
